I can’t decide whether I am equally or less embarrassed by the broadway people than by the hordes of homestucks who have been scrutinizing the picture and trying to make convincing arguments for it being hs fanart based on the incredibly subtle clues (?!?!?) hidden in it, when anyone with doubts could have just clicked on the source, checked out my original tags, and settled the question forever.

I’m not sure what sort of resolution this sort of thing can even reach???

Unless of course you just mean whether it’s Chicago or Homestuck, which is a simple answer; it’s a drawing I did of Roxy Lalonde after her name was revealed last year. I don’t expect the entire internet to recognize her eyes (HA) or cat necklace or the void symbol, but I think it’s pretty reasonable to expect that people click on a post’s source and maybe check out the original tags or something before they make rude comments.

 A bunch of people have reblogged it and explained the different spelling much more thoughtfully than I felt like doing at 8am this morning, but more people still keep trying to explain it, because they don’t see the other comments, because that is just the magic of tumblr.

There are also some homestucks making really rude and obnoxious comments towards the original rude musical fans in their reblogs, and I would appreciate it if that could stop!!! The proper response to people being obnoxious online is to sit back and laugh at it, not jump in and start a contest to be even MORE obnoxious.

but basically the whole thing is pretty much out of my control at this point, which I guess is also the magic of tumblr. oh well.
